Jul 23,  · Songs like 'Black Hill Sanitarium' and 'Digging Graves' just flat out bring it, and Andy LaRoque's guitar playing is, as usual, outstanding. So, if you like King Diamond's unique sound, but also like some straight ahead heavy metal, this is the album for you/5(46).

The Graveyard is the last album to feature drummer Darrin Anthony. This album is one of the most successful King Diamond’s albums, peaking at #23 in the Finnish Charts and remaining for two.

King Diamond are a Danish heavy metal band formed in by vocalist King Diamond, guitarists Andy LaRocque and Michael Denner, bassist Timi Hansen and drummer Mikkey Dee. Diamond, Denner and Hansen had recently departed the group Mercyful Fate, and decided to form a new band under the King Diamond moniker, as it was already known from the Mercyful Fate days.
